At first glance, Daydreamer feels entirely abstract. But as your eyes rest on the canvas, a silhouette gently emerges from the field.
My hope for this piece is to show the human and the land becoming one, existing in perfect harmony. It captures that peaceful moment when we stop just looking at nature and realize we are truly a part of it.
In this large 60 x 48 painting, I layered limestone, coffee grounds, and sewing pattern paper alongside acrylic and oil to create a truly unique texture.
