Autum Em bracewas inspired by a moment during COVID while  we were waiting in line outside a store, spaced apart and following the rules—only a few people were allowed in at a time. Even with the restrictions, there was a light, happy feeling. People were smiling, even talking to the person next to them, grateful just to be outside and around others again. This painting reflects that quiet joy—a mix of caution, connection, and celebration.
